This document will show you some of the main functionalities available to perform in the Electronic Diesel Control of a MAN TGA.
First, we must go to the trucks selector and choose the brand we need, in this case, MAN.
Afterwards, we select the Model and System:
Once we have accessed the correct system and we have successfully connected, we will be able to see the different functionalities available for the system:
Obviously, the first function available will be Diagnosis, which will allow us to perform diagnosis on the system and be able to read the possible errors present in that system. Directly related with this function, we will find the errors clearance, as shown below. With this function we will be able to clear the errors after we have repaired them on the truck.
The second function that we can find is called SYSTEM DATA. When we click on it, we will find ECU DATA and OPERATION DATA. Within Ecu data we will find the information recorded in the ECU:
If, instead, we click on Operation Data, we will get some important data regarding, for instance, exahust gas, injection flow, service data and Starter motor:
The next fucntionality available in this system is PARAMETERS. In this fucntion, you will be able to perform two diferent actuations: Reset of Mil Lamp and Torque limitation, and Reset of the Correction Factor of the Lambda Probe.
By clickin on the button MEASSURES, we will be able to modify the different measures we would like to use i.e. Km/h, Miles/h, Bar, Atm, ºC , ºF,…
Within the function ACTUATE COMPONENTS, we will be able to activate and deactivate the different components directly related to the EDC:

And finally, within MAINTENANCE we will be able to cancel the values after changing the soot filter:
These are the main functionalities we can develop nowadays within the EDC 7 in MAN TGA.
