Jaltest at TMC SuperTech 2015

For the second year in a row, Cojali USA and Jaltest was present at the Technology & Maintenance Council’s 11th annual TMCSuperTech 2015 competition. This event, held in Orlando (FL) from September 21st to 23rd, 2015, is the most important skills contest for the best professional commercial vehicle technicians and diesel engine specialists in North America’s trucking industry.

Over 150 of the best diesel technicians and students, gathered to compete head to head in the various work stations sponsored by equipment and parts manufacturers, fleets and technical schools. Cojali, as the sole sponsor for the `Electrical Diagrams´ station, featured ten full Jaltest test benches where technicians and students put their knowledge to the test.

Just as last year, Jaltest was the diagnostic solution selected for the ‘Wiring Diagrams’ workstation on Monday and Tuesday. More than 140 technicians (TMCSuperTech) and 40 technician students (TMCFutureTech) were able to demonstrate their skills and deep technical knowledge when solving the hard test Cojali USA staff prepared for them this year. The technicians, from different segments of the trucking industry, were also tested in some other workstations like lighting systems, fasteners, safety & environment and wheel end.

During the two-day event, the team of Cojali USA answered all contestants’ questions in order to help them achieve the best possible results in our workstation. Also, as chairmen and judges, they were responsible for both assisting and grading the competitors. Every technician and student competing in our workstation highlighted the complete wiring diagrams and technical repair information included in our Jaltest software, to help them get to the core of the problem fast, the first time around. As many of them said, ‘this is the most complete, most intuitive and user-friendly diagnostic software I have ever seen’.

The 2015 TMCSuperTech competition has proven (once again) to be a great event for Cojali USA. The fact that Cojali and Jaltest were selected to be one of the companies at this important competition, certainly motivates us to Continue Pioneering the Multibrand Independent Commercial Vehicle Diagnostics Industry in North America.
