New functionalities for fleets control

   Dear friends,

   We would like to introduce you one of the latest functionalities in the coming new version of Jaltest 13.2, the second of this year 2013.

   We would like to introduce a very important functionality for fleet management purposes, the display and reset of the “Operation Data”. For fleet managers this could be a key option to improve the efficiency of their vehicles and drivers, since they could compare details like:

• Trip data display:
• Fleet Mode.
• Driver.
• Total data display.
• Operation data reset:
• Fleet Mode.
•  Driver.

   Thanks to these new functionalities, we will give to the fleet managers a new way to improve the efficiency of their operations, saving a significant amount of money in fuel, for example, the most important cost in the current fleets nowadays.

   You will find the reset of operation data in the following systems, in the Jaltest version 13.2:

• Caterpillar.
• Paccar MX engines.

   The display of the trip data is also available in a plenty of systems in Jaltest, just go through the “Measure Selection”, and check all the values related to fuel consumption or Kms, and you will be able to check this information.

    We are sure that these functions will make the Jaltest worthy for the fleet managers, since they will have the chance to start saving money through the control of these variables.

e-ABS: Anti-Lock Braking System for Trailer

Our technical and engineering department has developed and presented the e-ABS, anti-lock braking systems with additional electronic control for auxiliary elements and monitoring braking performance and service for trailers, semi-trailers and full-trailers.

It is based in two different configurations, standard and premium.

Some of its functions are:

•  ABS configuration                                                                          
•  Switch control configured by speed
•  Km counter
•  Maintenance management                                       
•  Brake pad wear control
•  Diagnosis Functions (through ISO 7638)                                     

Besides, there are some diagnostic functions using Jaltest:

• Error memor
• Data monitoring

• End of line test
• BDL (Braking data logger).- this function is very useful for fleet control managers because all data about the working conditions of the vehicles is recorded (speed, braking frequency, ABS interventions…)

Jaltest Soft Innovations T12.2

Innovations T12.2 (released 15.06.2012) 

Jaltest Soft released its versión 12.2 on 15.06.2012.  As usual this comes with new features designed to make Jaltest even more complete and also more user-friendly, intuitive and attractive.

System auto detection

 

Regarding Jaltest Soft itself there are many improvements. The most remarkable one affects the system auto detection function. This has undergone many changes making it more functional, easier to use and more intuitive.

Measure display

 

One of the most interesting features of Jaltest has always been its measures display for some values. We have improved this with new and clearer graphs that improve the appearance and usability of the Soft.

Interactive technical releases

 

Jaltest 12.2 also includes some interactive technical releases.

 

Remote assistance

 

Apart from these changes, Jaltest soft 12.2  has launched a remote assistance function via teamviewer that can be used even from the installation/setup process. This will help Jaltest users to have more immediate access to technical assistance.

 

Diagnosis functions

 

Apart from these changes directed to improve functionality and appearance of Jaltest, there has been also new additions of diagnosis functions in Truck, Bus, Trailerand Light Commercial Vehicle.

In Truck we would like to remark new diagnosis functions in Hino, which is becoming more important every day, so Jaltest is working to cover more and more of this Asian brand.

It is also remarkable the qualitative step given in Light Commercial Vehicles.  Jaltest has been focusing more on heavy duty: From now on, the new Jaltest versions will be including more and more diagnosis functions in this type of vehicles.
