As with every new version, this time also, we have tried to overcome ourselves, bringing to our clients new ways of developing their business and partnership.

The new version 13.1 of Jaltest Soft is aimed to make our lives easier, so these are the new functions we have included:

•  Jaltest iParts: a module, which will help you to identify and cross part numbers fast and easily.

• Troubleshooting by symptoms and error codes: an extra help to identify and correct errors.

• Shortcuts to special functions: it will take you directly to those actions, which are mostly found on each model.

• Customized group of measures: you can create your own measures guideline for each system.

•  System technical data: text filter and direct access to print.

• Screenshot, option to print directly in the diagnosis report.

• Help for wiring diagrams: comments, notes, symbol and abbreviations description.
• Jaltest feedback: you can send your comments to our Technical Assistance team directly from Jaltest Soft.

• Window for information about Jaltest firmware version has been removed. It will pop-up only in inconsistency cases.

Jaltest SOFT is evolving… within the version 13.1, we will release a new application: Jaltest iparts

The best definition of Jaltest iparts is information system for spare parts identification.

This application is interesting both for final users and manufacturers of spare parts:

For final users, Jaltest iparts is a software to identify and cross reference different manufacturers and dealers part numbers. This application will help Jaltest users not only to identify unknown references, but to offer different options to the final customer.

For manufacturers, Jaltest iparts will offer the chance to arrive to all the Jaltest users in the world. Their references will be known everywhere.

Jaltest iparts will be also available on-line in the future.

How does Jaltest iparts work?

The procedure is very easy… you should only write any part number, (complete or partial), of the product you are looking for, and Jaltest iparts will show a list of the items with this number included within its reference.

Selecting any of the references from this list, you will see all the different equivalences that particular item has.

The long experience of Cojali Group within the heavy duty sector, has given us a big knowledge of the market.

The biggest data base in the market, iparts, will be available for Jaltest users, without any extra cost in 2013.

Jaltest ETM

What to do when the diagnosis process shows errors about EBS modulators?  How to check rapidly if the modulator is faulty?

Your pleas have been listened! Jaltest presents the ETM, the Jaltest Soft additional module used to verify and test EBS modulators in trucks. Our new ETM module is embedded into Jaltest Soft from the version 12.3 (third update in 2012).

Jaltest offers a comprehensive package of hardware to test a wide range of references in electronic modulators.

How to use the ETM in three simple steps:

STEP 1: Introduce the reference number of the modulator. A smart search toolbar helps to find the modulator. 

STEP 2: Connection information. Which cable is needed and where it must be fitted.

STEP 3: To establish communication with the modulator the user must select the modulator settings.

• Checking of wearing pads sensors
• End of Line Test

Take the guessing out of it and save time and money by checking the Electronic Modulators on the vehicle before replacing it.

These days we are present in the first training course celebrated in Chile for distributors and clients of Jaltest. Our area SaleS manager Mr. Ruiz and our specialized technician in JalTest Mr. Novés are showing all the possibilities that our Multibrand diagnosis tools can offer to the user.

The training course consists of theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is presented in the training room with documents and materials for all the participants, our technicians explain the functionalities, uses and the practice part is done with tests in real trucks.

Thanks to these courses that can be given anywhere and directly in the distributors facilities, the distributors get to improve the sales and the final clients acquire a qualified training which lets them to make the most of Jaltest.

JALTEST EXPERT MODE

The Jaltest expert mode is a customer’s responsibility statement over the functions and operations of the tool. The expert mode signature is necessary for the safety of the final user.

From Jaltest, we always try to continuously improve our services, offering our customers certain solutions that allow them to save time and effort when handling our tool and using our services.

That is why we have improved the access to the expert mode. From now on, the agreement is on the website!

Expert mode confirmation steps:

The expert mode code has been modified in Jaltest Soft version 12.3. Jaltest users must obtain their new expert mode code from the Jaltest website, using the “Expert Mode” menu and following the steps indicated.

In Jaltest Soft, within the menu “JalTest Link -> Activate Expert Mode”, the screen below will show up warning about the change and providing a link for the user which will take him to the Jaltest website. With his user and password, he will be able to access the website in order to obtain the new expert mode code.

The message that the users will see on the update area regarding the expert mode change will appear on the area where the innovations of the version are indicated, right above the download links.

 

In the new Jaltest website, there is a messaging area where the customers receive messages from Cojali, informing about new Software versions, promotions…

The message will be automatically sent via SMS to the cell phone number indicated. It will be sent to the e-mail address provided as well.
